SPRING AND SUMMER WILL COME
sooner than you think!  Time to clean out, look at your wardrobe, redecorate your house….When you do, you’ll find items you don’t need but are still useable.  Save them for the United Methodist Women’s Rummage Sale to be held in Fellowship Hall April 22rd 23rd and 24th.  This keeps the good stuff out of the landfill and makes it possible for someone to purchase needed items for a very good price.  And you will be supporting UMW in their mission projects.  A lot of good done with very little effort.

April 22nd 4:00pm - 8:00pm
April 23rd 9:00 - 3:00pm
April 24th - 9:00am to noon

Do you have your “mug bag” (B.Y.O.M.) - see Marie Shafer if you are in need of one - by bringing your own mug we keep the Styrofoam cups out of the landfills.

Want to be green?  Many of us are into Recycling.  But what about PREcycling?  Precycling means we can take action

before recycling.  Such as:

1.         Bring your reusable bags to stores when shopping.

2.         Buy fewer disposable items such as cloth napkins (wash clothes work really well), towels, and even diapers.

3.         Buy “long life” products such as batteries, light bulbs and concentrated products.

4.         Get a mug bag from a United Methodist Woman to carry your own mug thus eliminating Styrofoam cups.
