YOUTH MISSION TRIP

Where:  Daytona Beach, Florida

When:   June 21st - 26th

What:   Eight million visitors a year come to the area to stay in the beautiful resorts and participate in a variety of recreational activities.  However, local residents struggle with homelessness, drugs and poverty.  Through our trip, students will have the chance to address those issues first-hand and learn about the gaps that can be present between the well-off and the poor.

Cost:  To register, students need to pay a $75 deposit, which can be given to Crystal Lindell or Bev Hodges.  Our goal will be to fundraise the remaining costs, but depending on how successful we are, we may need students to contribute more.

Who:  Both junior high and high school students are welcome to come along!  We have room for 20 students total, and the spots will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Please sign up as soon as possible!
